We received the keys to our house in June 2007 after four years of looking at property. We were hoping that one day a house near Mochlos would be available. In 2006 there it was with the beautiful view of Mochlos, on the Property on Crete website.
Then the nerves set in and the questions start to buzz in your head; "Will we get this house?", "What is the estate agent like - property consultant- well, I have bought and sold in England and George and his team would stand out as a one off. They have all the qualities of service we Brits are always pining for back home. I met George in Tourloti he bought me a beer and we sat relaxed in the sun, no rush no flannel. We then saw the house. George was totally upfront and honest and I immediately felt safe in the knowledge his integrity was sound and that's enough for me. George pointed out the pitfalls almost saying "Look its your hard earned cash so you want value for money". George, Joy and Fran regularly emailed us and answered every question whether simple or complicated for a foreign buyer. Even better was to come. George said from day one; "Look when you buy a property abroad you want to know it is right so you enjoy living in it in he country of your choice that's what it is all about". He added, "so after you buy through me I will still always help you and support you I will not forget you after the sale is complete". Nor has he forgotten us, now still over a year later we live in the house with the beautiful view of Mochlos and George and his team were always on hand with their help and advice. George gets straight to the nub of any problem and it can be a general matter not just linked to having bought a house. George knows what really bothers buyers no hype, no bull, he continues to help us and I never find him unapproachable. My wife and I regularly stroll into his office in Sitia for a chat or for some help safe in the knowledge we will get it and get it straight. I can not recommend George and his team highly enough. In fact I can safely say were it not for them we may have experienced the problems we whinging Brits hear about so often, but not us we had a seamless, problem free purchase and a happy time buying and now own the house we always wished for.
